However, knights mounted their horses with no great trouble. Armour is designed to allow fairly full movement and is no more heavy than the equipment that modern soliders routinely carry (actually a modern soliders full pack with clothes, rations, spare ammo, entrenching tools, rifle, night scope etc. probably weighs more than the plate armour of the late medieval knight) ------------------Sugar I need to know how the fully armoured knights get on their horses????
any one with info it would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures of knights being lifted on to horses with cranes are completely made up.
